Steve and Sandy made their choice to serve God in 1981, and she was faithful to that choice until the end. Sandy loved life, and she stated that the last 20 years have been perfect bliss.

40 years ago, just 2 months after she and Steve were married, she became aware that she had cancer. This resulted in their not having any children, but 20 years later, she was adopted by the Goonetilleke family and considered herself a grandmother to Kaylani, Jeanelle and Donny. She took an active interest in their upbringing and development, both spiritually and naturally. She involved herself regularly in their hobbies and school activities. She will be dearly missed by them.

A month ago, when she was told by her doctor that she had terminal cancer and that her time was short, Sandy looked forward with anticipation, to going home to her heavenly family. Her only regrets were for Steve and the others who she would leave behind. Steve and Sandy spent many of her last days and hours encouraging each other to finish the course faithfully.

On the morning of July 10, 2001, Sandy passed peacefully from time to eternity, with her beloved husband, Steve, by her side. She is survived by her loving husband, Steve; her mother, Betty Terrisfield; her sister, Sue La Roche; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceeded in death by her father, Raymond Bradley and her sister, Diane Bradley.

Friends may pay their respects and visit with the family on Sunday, July 15, 2001 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Gardenside Funeral Service. A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 16, 2001, at 3:00 PM in the Sky Rose Chapel at the top of gate 1 at Rose Hills Memorial Park, Whittier. Interment will follow the service.
