Thommy B. Kane

Thomas B. Kane was born in St. Louis, Missouri on February 17, 1965. He was always willing to help anyone with anything. He had a generous, open heart and a very giving nature. Thommy was one of those rare people who possess such a curious nature that they know a little something about a lot of things. . .and he was always ready to share that knowledge. Thommy believed that food was one of the best expressions of love, which is why he enjoyed cooking the most fabulous meals for holidays, celebrations, gatherings and, just because!! Knowledge and infinite wisdom are always appreciated, and Thommy was always willing to share his experiences and offer solutions. Thommy always brought his special smile with him and that smile would light up the room. Thommy was always there when you needed a friend and he could teach you what being a friend was all about. His heart was so big that he always had room for his family, friends, and anyone who needed him.

To be absent in life is to be present with the Lord. Thommy now enjoys peace and joy for an eternity. He left us on August 2, 2001, in Los Angeles, California. Thommy was my other son, I love him very much and he will be missed by many!

Thommy was a son that any Mother would be proud of and I was proud of my son for more reasons than I could ever list. I will always love him and hold him in my heart!

Thommy was my best half and we will be whole again when we are reunited.

When I come to the end of the road . . .
And the sun has set for me
I want no rites in a gloom filled room
Why cry for a soul set free?

Miss me a little - but not too long
And not with your head bowed low
Remember the love that we once shared
Miss me - but let me go.

For this is a journey that we all must take
And each must go alone
It's all a part of the master's plan
A step on the road to home.

When you are lonely and sick at heart
Go the the friends we know
And bury your sorrows - in doing good deeds
Miss me - but let me go.
