Dr Lupo- The Carey Grant and Prince of the Phillipines!
With all his inpecable stlye and manner he truely was a unique and special man. My social aquiantance was made by meeting him thru friendships with Dr Anthony Andres and Mr.George Arambulo in the late eighties. Dr Lupo was always gracious to share and extend his excellent conversation and time with me at many social functions when encountering one another in Los Angeles and New York. Once upon arriving in New York, Dr Lupo even gave myself and my guests a personal tour of New York City in the comfort of his own car. What and incredible adventure that was! Park Avenue and the Empire State Building will always have a memory attached to it of Dr Lupo.
Always remembering Dr Lupo words, he said that I should always place my family first. That whenever I felt alienated to remember that I was a citizen of the world!
Having lost touch with Dr Lupo I last came accross him in the Lobby of The Beverly Hills Hotel about a year ago past. It was only by very strange coincedence that I sadly learned of his passing just two days prior to his memorial service. Attending his service I was touched by the love of his family and friends for him.
Please be comforted with the sweetest thought that Dr Lupo is in joyeous company amongst a host of angels in Heaven, and enjoying the illumination of the earth below.
With deepest sympathy and respect to his family, I very kindly extend my condolances.
